Scorpions have survived thousands of years. Their amazing camouflage has helped them achieve this feat. The scorpion keeper must be able to locate their scorpion easily for routine maintanence and feedings.  A UV  light will help achieve this by taking advantage of the fluorescent nature of the scorpions exoskeleton.
 
This custom "Tarantula Cribs"  black light is rechargeable via USB port so you don't need to worry about batteries!
